Justin and Jordan: White Fox Cottage, Commerce, Georgia

I LOVED Justin and Jordan as soon as I met them at their engagement session in Athens. Justin is hysterical, and he literally had me laughing the ENTIRE time. Jordan was as sweet as she could be, and she was all smiles while she was with Justin.

Their wedding day took place in Commerce at White Fox Cottage—a beautiful French country venue with an open air chapel for ceremonies. After several sunny and warm spring days, Saturday’s temperature dropped into the low 50’s and we had constant wind all day—but it was okay—because the wind made for some epic veil shots with Jordan’s gorgeous, beaded cathedral veil.

After photographing Jordan’s details and the girls in their robes, Jordan’s mom helped her slip into her gown. Jordan surprised her dad with a first look, and after her immediate family photos, we worked with the girls. Jordan chose soft rose pink and blues for her wedding colors, and her gorgeous bouquet was made up of ruffled peonies and completed her classical look.

I always tell my brides choosing their coordinator is so important—and luckily Jordan went with one of my favorites—Chasity Burroughs. When Jordan told us her gown was scratching her legs, Chasity quickly came to the rescue…so we had to grab some behind the scenes photos. ;-)

Justin opted to have some photos with his Z28, which Eli gladly pulled around to the front of the venue for us (thank you, Eli!) After some pictures, Jordan wanted to peek at them from the window—so we strategically placed Justin where he couldn’t see her since they were not sharing a first look and got the cute shot!

Finally, it was time for the cermeony—the guests began to arrive and made their way across the winding brook and up the path to the open air chapel where Georgia String Ensemble was already performing.

Justin turned so he wouldn’t see Jordan until Chasity had her fluffed and ready—and when he did turn, a big smile immediately lit up his face as he watched Jordan gliding toward him on the arm of her father.

They exchanged vows and rings, and Justin kissed his beautiful bride. We took family photos, and worked with the bridal party and then whisked Justin and Jordan away for some bride and groom portraits.

I just love the joy these two share when they are together—they are always smiling, laughing and truly enjoying one another. Once we finished their portraits, they slipped into the bridal suite for a quick private dinner while their guests played corn hole, grabbed champagne, or helped themselves to cocktails (complemented of course with koozies bearing Max’s face (Jordan’s beloved dog).

After the new Mr. and Mrs. Bentley were announced, they shared their first dance, and greeted their guests. After dinner, they cut their cakes and Jordan danced with her father, and Justin, his mother. After that, the band opened the dance floor and the guests were ready to celebrate!

Justin and Jordan’s day was an absolute fairy tale wedding…Jordan’s dream wedding, as her father, Andy put it during his speech. May your marriage be full of joy, laughter, and endless blessings…because you two certainly deserve it. Congratulations!
