Elisha and Allie’s wedding day was absolutely gorgeous! After a week of cool weather and some rain, for February, the temperature was mild and we had abundant sunshine! Allie and her girls were getting ready in the bridal suite when we arrived and got to work photographing her details. Allie’s mom had several surprises for her including a necklace she had worn on her wedding day, which she presented to Allie as she helped her dress.
The guys were enjoying hanging out in the groom’s suite, and we had a great time with them during photos. They even asked for some funny photos with Elisha on the wooden swing.
Allie was absolutely stunning in her sparkling gown with the wrap skirt, and her florals provided vibrant color. She shared a first look with her father, and then we headed out for her bridal portraits and photos with her beautiful girls. After the portraits she was tucked away for the ceremony. Wreaths adorned the doors to Marsden Hall, and as always, the chandelier was the stunning centerpiece of the room.
The harp and violin provided music, and when the doors were opened and Allie floated down the aisle on her father’s arm, Elisha couldn’t help but become emotional. Allie’s father gave her away, and she and Elisha exchanged vows in front of their closest family and friends.
After sealing their promises with a kiss, Elisha dipped Allie for another on the way down the aisle. We photographed the bridal party, and then worked with Elisha and Allie. Allie was more than willing to tuck into the railroad track ruins, which are usually only accessible in the winter, and the result was some amazing sun flare for some of their portraits.
I just LOVE how easy Elisha and Allie are together….they are so comfortable together, and they truly love being together. It is so evident in their photos—these two were meant to be together!
The bridal party was introduced into the reception hall which was glittering with gold candles, red roses, and streams of greenery trailing down from the chandlers. It was absolutely stunning.
Elisha and Allie shared their first dance, followed by dinner with their guests. After dinner, Allie danced with her father and Elisha danced with his mother. They cut their cake and then the dance floor was open for the party!
It was truly a joyful day for both Elisha and Allie as well as the guests who were present to celebrate with them. They were sent off to their happily ever after with a sparkler exit. Elisha and Allie, it was such a privilege to work with you and capture this beautiful day! Congratulations and may you experience every happiness together that life has to offer!
