Our first attempt at Brenton and Catie’s Cator Woolford Gardens engagement session got rained out by a hurricane—but we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day when we rescheduled for yesterday morning! The weather was cool, the location was classically beautiful and Brenton and Catie looked amazing!! I had so much fun getting to hang out with these two. They were initially set up by mutual friends, and after dating, Brenton made plans to propose on a hike by a waterfall—but the location he picked was crowded. After multiple attempts to find a new location, Brenton found one he liked—but in order to wait until people cleared out, he had to convince Catie to walk around a few different times. His persitiance paid off and he finally got to pop the question in a quiet location—and of course Catie said yes! they are planning their wedding for one of my favorite venues—Empire Mills out in Madison, and I can’t wait for their wedding day!!
