When I arrived at 9 Oaks Farm for Chuck and Lauren’s engagement session, I grabbed a clear umbrella from the back of my car. It was cloudy and looked like rain…but a few minutes later, when they pulled onto the property and got out of the car, the sun came out! And, ironically, just as we were finishing their engagement session, the rain started! It was the perfect window to capture some fun memories for these two!
Chuck and Lauren might be a “divided household” since Chuck went to Georgia Tech and Lauren went to UGA (I totally relate since I’m a UGA grad and my husband went to Alabama) but that’s about the only way they are divided! It was so sweet to watch how Chuck’s face lit up every time he looked at Lauren. Lauren has a bubbly personality and she’s always smiling…and she has the MOST gorgeous pair of shoes on that we made sure to keep dry as we trekked all over the property! (Chuck may be on the quiet side, but he’s such a sweetheart…he helped Lauren every time she had to swap shoes to walk in the wet grass!)
These two will be getting married out at 9 Oaks Farm this November, and I know it’s going to be beautiful! I’m so excited to work with them and capture their special day!! Congratulations on your engagement Lauren—I hope you enjoy these last few months of planning and I can’t wait for November!!
