I absolutely loved Will and Katherine as soon as I met them. They are so genuine, so sweet—it was so easy and fun to be around them. Katherine is the epitome of a classy southern girl, and her wedding reflected that in every way!
Her details were stunning—her gown was simple, elegant, and trimmed in lace with a row of buttons that fell all the way down her train. Her cathedral length veil was trimmed in lace and complete with a blusher and a blue monogram (what southern girl doesn’t love monograms??) She had some special details as well—some lace from her grandmother’s wedding gown and a perfume bottle that was her mother’s—so we made sure to get some photos of that as well!
Katherine’s mother and her sister Caroline helped her dress, and then she had a sweet first look with her father. After portraits with her girls and bridal portraits (thank you wind for some amazing veil shots!) Katherine prepped for a first look with Will.
When Will turned to see his stunning bride walking toward him, he was overcome with emotion. They shared some special moments together and then we shot their first round of portraits. After bridal party portraits, we hurried to the church to finish their photos—and y’all—wow!! Katherine’s long train and veil made for some stunning photos on the steps of the church!
After a God-centered ceremony at the Madison Baptist Church, they sealed their vows with a kiss and then it was time to celebrate at their reception!
I’m so honored to have had the opportunity to know these two and capture this special time in their lives! Will and Katherine, y’all are AMAZING, sweet, and I wish you every blessing as you begin your lives together!! Congratulations!
