Jacob and Star are currently seniors at UGA (my alma mater!) and I met them this past weekend at a beautiful property belonging to Jacob’s grandparents to begin their engagement session. They first saw one another when Star walked into a 3-D print lab (although Jacob doesn’t remember this) and then later they met at a birthday party. Jacob asked for her number and the rest is history! Jacob cautioned me to watch my step as we hiked down a steep hill to the river. He was such a gentleman—he even offered to carry my heavy camera bag on the way back up the hill! Before we headed to our second location, we included their sweet dog Finnegan in a few shots!
We met back on campus at the Founder’s garden for their second location and Star looked elegant in her black dress! These two were so easy to be around and their natural interactions, smiles and laughter made my job so easy! It’s evident they are crazy about one another…Jacob was beaming the entire time! They are such a sweet and genuine couple and I am so excited about capturing these special memories for them now and next October when they say “I Do” at the Thompson House and Gardens! Congratulations on your engagement Jacob and Star!!
