Brandon and Kaylynn: Livin' Dreams Farm Engagement Session

When I met Kaylynn and Brandon out at Livin’ Dreams Farm in Good Hope, Georgia I instantly loved them. Kaylynn gave me a big hug and asked about my girls. She was so genuine and that she had even thought to ask about my daughters meant so much to me. Brandon was all smiles and he and Kaylynn had brought along their dogs, Winnie and Maddie, and Kaylynn’s grandmother to help wrangle them.

Kaylynn works for the University of Georgia and Brandon is a Tennessee grad (I won’t hold that against him ;-)) Brandon is also a fishing coach so both Kaylynn and I can relate with our significant others being coaches! They met in downtown Athens in 2015 and after a month of texting they finally went on a date. This past July they traveled to Yellowstone in Wyoming where they hiked up a trail to watch the sunset. Kaylynn was a little worried about bears but that worry dissipated when Brandon proposed!

There’s a beautiful story behind Kaylynn’s ring—every diamond in her engagement ring was once set in rings belonging to Brandon’s grandmother. Brandon had the diamonds from his grandmother’s rings, that symbolized the 58 years of marriage she shared with his grandfather, set into Kaylynn’s engagement ring…what a lovely heirloom and special story to symbolize the beginning of their journey!

After we shot some gorgeous sunset photos in the pasture, we bribed Casey, one of the resident horse of Livin’ Dreams Farm with some apple slices. After he ate all of the apples Brandon and Kaylynn fed him, he immediately turned and tracked me down to sniff out my camera bag for more!

Kaylynn’s sweet grandmother had come all the way from North Carolina to help be the dog wrangler for their engagement session. Winnie and Maddie were the sweetest…they hung out and enjoyed some love while being included in photos.

I just can’t say enough about this sweet couple—their joy and laughter was truly genuine and to be a part of capturing their beautiful love story is so special! Brandon and Kaylynn, Congratulations! I hope you enjoy this season as you plan for your wedding!
