Nyala class of 2018

It was a balmy 39 degrees when we went out to shoot Nyala's senior photos in downtown Norcross--but you couldn't tell she was cold in the pictures! I've known Nyala's mom for years--she was my long-term sub when I was out on maternity leave with both of my girls so I was honored when she asked me to shoot Nyala's senior pictures! We had SO much fun trotting around downtown Norcross and shooting--and in between sets Nyala's sister, Emma or her mom, would rush in to give her a coat to wear!

Nyala is an IB senior at Norcross High School. She is extremely talented and plays the clarinet. In fact, I helped her prepare for her Governor's Honor's interviews back when she was a sophomore! Nyala brought along her clarinet and her camera--she's also interested in photography. We had fun chatting about photography settings and did some creative images with her clarinet and her camera.

Nyala is thinking about going to the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!) and plans to take a few photography classes while she is in school there. Her main interest is in genetics but this scientific girl has an artsy side with photography, music and pottery! She is absolutely beautiful inside and out...she has an amazing future ahead of her and it was such an honor for me to capture her during this exciting chapter in her life!
