I’ve known the Hanna family for years—their daughter, Sydney, was in my British Literature class….their son, Cole, was on the Norcross football team and my husband was one of his coaches…I photographed Sydney’s wedding and then Madison was a student in my husband’s math class! This family is just one of the sweetest—Ty and Stephanie still volunteer for the NHS football program even though their kids have graduated and are starting families of their own. They are just all amazing people, and for us to get to capture this special day of them was just a joy!
Their beautiful wedding day took place at Little River Farms in Alpharetta. It was sunny and hot so we bounced back and forth from outside to inside for photos to keep them cool! After a sweet first look, Madison and Cole exchanged private vows. Their ceremony had a chance of rain, and despite the thunder that rumbled in the distance, and the darkening skies, not a drop fell until we were back inside after bride and groom portraits!
Their ceremony was God-centered and sweet with both Madison and Cole’s siblings reading a special verse and telling a story, and the flower girl being driven down the aisle in a remote controlled car. After exchanging rings, they sealed their vow with a kiss and Cole dipped Madison again as they walked down the aisle as husband and wife.
Cole and Madison were troopers as we hurried to get in their bride and groom portraits before the storm hit—and we finished with family portraits inside by the beautiful fireplace before the reception began.
They had an absolutely gorgeous celebration surrounded by their closest family and friends and then enjoyed dancing the night away! Cole and Madison—y’all are just the sweetest—we wish you all the blessings and happiness as you embark on this journey of marriage! Congratulations!!
