Kip and Blakelee are just the sweetest couple—Blakelee is from my hometown of Loganville, Georgia and is a teacher at LHS, my alma mater. From the moment I met her, she just had the sweetest spirit about her—she and Kip both did. Their wedding took place at the Engine Room in Monroe, Georgia and it couldn’t have been a more beautiful day!
Jacki Garrison did a fantastic job pulling all of the details together, and keeping everyone on schedule—and the florals by JL Designs were STUNNING as always. Y’all—the dessert table was pretty spectacular—The Posh Cakery did a fabulous job and guests were hanging out around it all evening!
Blakelee and her dad love coke—so after a first look with her dad, Blakelee shared a coke with him—a unique and meaningful moment just for the two of them.
Blakelee’s sweet bridesmaids had the most gorgeous color for their gowns—a soft fog blue. After doing some photos on the patio, Blakelee and Kip shared a first touch, read letters to one another and prayed.
Their ceremony was God-centered and sweet, and not only did Blakelee’s mother lay white roses in empty chairs to remember those special family members who passed on, but their families surrounded them in the middle of the ceremony to pray.
After they were pronounced husband and wife, Kip kissed his beautiful bride and we went out for more photos while the guests enjoyed cocktails on the patio.
At the reception, guests enjoyed pizza from Monroe’s favorite Italian restaurant, Amici’s, and then danced the evening away before Kip and Blakelee were sent off with cheers and sparklers.
It was truly a memorable celebration for these two families and this special couple—I wish them every blessing as they begin their new lives together! Congratulations, Kip and Blakelee!
