Joe and Molly are really special to me. Years ago, Joe used to sit in my British Literature class at Norcross High School. Not only was he one of my favorite students, but my husband was one of his football coaches. I never missed one of Joe’s games the year he was the quarterback and led Norcross High School to their first state championship game. It was really special to get to have him in my class and to watch him play for my husband. I first met Molly at the wedding of another one of my couples who is also friends with Joe, and I got to know her better at their engagement session. Molly is an amazing, thoughtful person who just completed her board exams to become a nurse practitioner. For me to have the privilege of capturing their wedding day is something that will always be so meaningful to me!
Their beautiful day took place in the gorgeous mountain town in Dahlonega at the famous Montaluce Winery. The weather was perfect…the clouds drifted across a cobalt blue sky and there was a soft breeze blowing all day. Molly’s elegant silk gown was handmade for her by Brittwood Designs, and her cathedral length veil with a blusher only added to the timeless, classic look.
Joe and Molly shared a first look under the sprawling oak tree overlooking the vineyard, and in the same spot a few hours later, they became husband and wife in a ceremony officiated by Joe’s uncle.
Later, they celebrated with their closest family and friends with dinner and dancing on the terrace overlooking the vineyard.
Their day was truly a memorable one, and I am SO thrilled for them! Congratulations, Joe and Molly—may God bless this new chapter in your lives!
