I’ve known Ashley for a few years now…and to get to capture her senior session was SO much fun for me! Ashley is one of the instructions at Dabney Riding Academy in Mansfield. She has been the assistant coach for my daughter’s team and currently rides on the pro Diamond D Cowgirl Team and coaches the varsity quad and elite drill teams at the barn. She’s got the sweetest personality and both of my girls adore her. It means a lot to have someone like Ashley for my girls to look up to as a mentor.
This year has been a challenging one for Ashley. She unexpectedly lost her uncle right before her team competed. Her Uncle Matt instilled in her a love for horses, and she wanted to honor him in her senior photos. I don’t think it was a coincidence that not only was the sun shining while there was some rain drops as we took Aussie out to the pasture for some photos…but right after, we saw a rainbow. I’m pretty sure her uncle was looking down on her, and was as proud of her as ever.
It was truly a privilege for me to capture this special time in Ashley’s life. We are so proud of this sweet girl, we love her and we are thankful for how she loves and pours into our daughters.
