Brandon and Hannah's Barrington Hall Roswell Engagement Session

I got to know Hannah through my March bride, Brynn—they were sorority sisters at the University of Georgia. Hannah and her fiancé Brandon met while they were students at Brookwood High School—Brandon was a senior and Hannah was a junior. They both ended up attending UGA, and Brandon proposed to Hannah at Piedmont Park in Atlanta. We met on Sunday to shoot their engagement session at Barrington Hall in Roswell and Vickery Creek.

First, let me tell you—Brandon was an absolute trooper for this session. Not only was he missing Sunday football for this, but he also wore a sport coat in 95 degree weather!! And Hannah was just the sweetest…we had only conversed over the phone because she had been living and working out of state, but I knew I would love her as soon as she smiled at me and gave me a hug!

Hannah looked absolutely stunning in her blue and white floral chiffon dress…it couldn’t have been more perfect for the southern charm of Barrington Hall!

They picked up so quickly on the core poses that I taught them and were just naturals in front of my camera! We had planned for our second location to be the Roswell Mill waterfall but when we arrived, it looked like half of Roswell had turned up to cool off in the creek. Luckily, we found a secluded spot with unbelievable light, and were able to get some gorgeous water pictures after all!

After we wrapped up their session, they insisted on driving me to my car (I had parked way up a steep hill), and I SO appreciated that (did I mention it was 95 degrees out??)! I believe that the couples who find me or become connected with me are never by accident…because every single couple has been a blessing for me to get to know and serve through my photography. I am beyond excited to work with Brandon and Hannah and I can’t wait for their June wedding!!
