There’s a little something different on the journal today! When I first started my photography business, I did a little bit of everything…and while I wish I could still do that, weddings were just my calling and I decided to focus on that! But when the occasion arises, and I get to photograph friends, colleagues and brides as they begin new chapters in their lives…it’s pretty amazing!
Mike is a friend and a colleague—and he is a man of many talents! He is a realtor for the Thin Red Line real estate group with Keller Williams, a fire fighter, and a wedding DJ! (Y’all should check him out at Jones Mobile Media!
When he asked me about photographing his family for a maternity/family session, I was super excited! His gorgeous wife Haley is a nurse, and they are expecting their daughter very soon!
We met out at Hurricane Shoals Park for their photos, and Michael, their son, had so much fun running around with his grandmother and exploring between shots…especially when we went down to the river!
It was the first time I’d had the pleasure of meeting his sweet wife, Haley. Have you ever met someone and thought “She is someone I could definitely be friends with!” ? That was my reaction with Haley. She was so laid back, sweet and happy—she truly was a joy to be around!
I am so excited for this sweet family of (soon to be!) four and this new chapter they are embarking on! Congratulations Mike, Haley and Michael!
