Josh and Ashley met at Georgia College, so I love that their engagement session took place there…it really reflects their story! Last Sunday I took a road trip down to Milledgeville. Ashley and I had been keeping in touch and watching the weather, and with the rain chance pretty high that afternoon, we opted for a morning session which was our only chance for a little sunshine!
These two are so sweet and laid back, and their genuine personalities and joy of being together made my job capturing them easy! Josh is actually from my hometown of Loganville which is so neat—and Ashley is finishing her last year at Georgia College as an education major. Josh surprised Ashley with a sweet proposal while on a beach vacation.
I so enjoyed the little tour I got while walking around with them. They showed me the Governor’s mansion, and we walked along the beautiful pathways and took pictures on the porches of some of the buildings. Their July wedding will take place at 9 Oaks Farm in Monroe, and I am so excited to work with them and to capture this special time in their lives! Josh and Ashley, congratulations on your engagement and I hope you enjoy this time of planning and excitement!
